PORSCHE 911 CARRERA 3.2 TARGA

In the constant evolution of the Porsche 911, there was a period that more than any other marked its history. It's the 1980s and although at the time some in Stuttgart wanted to abandon it in favor of the more luxurious 928, the technological advances made in those years would become the lifeblood of its success.

It was 1983 when the new 911 Carrera with a 3.2 liter engine was presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show, in the same setting that exactly twenty years earlier had greeted the debut of the first model with a 2.0 engine. Ignition and injection are now managed by the Bosch Motronic system, which establishes the engine operating conditions based on the temperature of the cylinder heads and pistons. The power rises to 231 HP, which can be exploited from start to finish and in complete safety thanks to the increase in displacement and the adoption of a more powerful braking system, which guarantees shorter stopping distances even on wet surfaces. The maximum speed is 245 km/h.

This car has undergone a total restoration, bodywork, interior, chassis, engine and electrical systems have undergone meticulous restoration work, following the original characteristics of the time, ASI registered car and gold plate certified. The vehicle has only driven 7000 km after the restoration.
