FIAT SIATA 1500 TS BERLINA

FIAT SIATA 1500 TS BERLINA

The year of the launch of his Siata, an acronym for Società Italiana Applicazioni Tecniche Automobilistici, was 1926. And with the great Fiat beginning to exert its influence in Turin, there was nothing else to do but work on it together and study it until bottom. In those years, Siata had the opportunity to work on the cylinder head of the Topolino and 508 Balilla engines, and the Fiat technicians realized that the work was decidedly good. An even closer collaboration began which certainly made Ambrosini happy, but not as much as he would have liked. In 1929 Ambrosini and Piero Dusio, founder of Cisitalia, took part in the Mille Miglia with a Fiat 521, finishing in 25th place. But this is another story. In 1945 Ambrosini, together with Aldo Leoni and Aldo Farinelli, developed the idea of the 48cc Cucciolo engine which was a great success, sold in kit form by Ducati shortly after its launch. In the Sixties, thanks to an economic crisis, SIATA struck an agreement with the German Nsu/Neckar for the assembly of numerous Fiat models and in the meantime listed the Fiat Siata1500 TS Berlina, presented at the Turin show in 1963 and produced in very few examples until 1965.

This beautiful and very rare Fiat Siata 1500 TC has been meticulously preserved by the current owner, all original, Siata rev counter, dedicated Nardi steering wheel, Siata head with Weber 36DCD carburettor. Car with original documents and plates, the German Neckar assembled a similar car in its factories, but there are very few of this Italian version, registered with ASI and with Gold Plate recognition
